Peanut's Gang: Charlie Brown and Peppermint Patty are 3 month old Cattledog-Pit mix puppies. They are two of the most well behaved puppies we have had in our rescue in a long time. They were paper trained from the first day they came into the rescue. They are now learning to use the doggy door and will hold it until they either can go out the doggy door or someone lets them out the regular door. (The flap on the doggie door has proven to be somewhat intimidating for them!). They currently live in a foster home with dogs, cats and kids. They are very socialable and love to go to the door to greet folks as they come in the house.
Charlie Brown has a sweet, endearing little face, much like the character he was named after. He patiently waits for his treats at night and he loves nothing more than snuggling up under the covers when Dad isn't going to be home until later and Mom sneaks them into the bed to keep her company. Charlie Brown gets along really well with the big and small dogs in his foster home. He listens well and respects the boundaries of the bigger ones who don't want to play. The small ones love to engage in "wrestle-mania!"
Peppermint Patty is outgoing and spunky and loves to run up and jump up begging to be picked up. She is a lover girl who can't get enough of her foster families affection. She can run and play with the other dogs in her house all day or she can hang out in the office with Mom. She is very friendly and outgoing. She hasn't met a stranger yet.
We are not looking to place these two little cuties together. Rather we think they will grow and thrive living in a home where they get individual attention and affection. Typically we discourage folks from adopting siblings. These two have shown to be highly intelligent, easy to train, and playfully energetic.
