“Cowboy and Cowgirl Up!”
Cowboy and Cowgirl Up! It's rodeo time around our rescue and ready to rope you in are our 4 miniature (and boy do we mean miniature) Blue Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog) mixes. Mom was a Mini Blue Heeler and Dad was unknown but clearly had to be someone small as well. The pups are 8-9 weeks old and are about 2lbs. Mom was about 15-18lbs full grown and had the merle coat.
Our pups have gotten the full ranch effect living with dogs, cats and kids who have kept them well occupied and well versed in playing. The little cowboys and cowgirls are playful, energetic, excited little ones ready to ride off into the sunset with their beloved.
Females: Calamity Jane and Annie Oakley are both merles
Males: Wild Bill is a blonde (looking like a miniature Lab!) and Butch Cassidy looks like a miniature Border Collie.
No one has proven themselves to be dominant nor overtly shy. They all are rowdy little pups who think they're living at the Ok Corral with all their activities!
