Meatball is a 3 year old Old English Sheepdog who is a total goofball. He is the quintessential clown. He's funny, full of life and so clumsy. He's just all limbs and gangly. He has the sweetest personality. He loves people. He has no idea he is not a lap dog--a great big lap dog that wants to give you lots of kisses. Meatball came in with a long coat that had to be shaved down as it had not been well cared for which happens frequently with this breed unless regularly brushed and groomed. We will be looking for a home that understands the grooming needs of this breed.

Meatball is an ideal dog to live by himself. He gets protective in his home after a few weeks with other dogs. If you're a subscriber to being a pack leader and you have another dog, we can talk. You'll need to elaborate on the application your leadership abilities and what that means in your home. He is crate trained and we'll be looking for a home that is willing to utilize all tools available to create boundaries for this boy. He pulls on a leash when using a regular collar and even when using no pull harnesses. We have recommendations and his foster mom was very successful.

Meatball is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. If there are children in the home they need to be over the age of 8 and knock over proof.
