The Sushi litter is 3 1/2 months old. They have short little legs and long body like a Corgi and Mom looked like Flat Coated Retriever without legs. We met Mom and she was cute and friendly. It was clear she had a whole lot of different dogs within her. She probably weighed 35-40lbs but she looked like a Retriever on a Corgi body. We expect the puppies will be in the 30-40lbs range. They won't be the size of a Flat Coated Retriever.

The Sushi litter previously lived with other dogs big and small. They had a blast playing with dogs. They currently live in a foster with a Chow and two small dogs. They also live with a cat who they routinely remind why he hates puppies. He finds a place high enough to get away from them but when he comes back, they're there to play! They also love to play with toys. They raided the toy box and scattered the toys all over the house. They had an absolute blast. The foster mom? Not so happy. Welcome to puppies!

The Sushi pups love to snuggle and cuddle. They spent the weekend watching Netflix with the teens in the house and hanging out with the family. They entertained themselves and the family. They had some good time playing in the yard and then came in to cuddle up on the couch. They are not big barkers. Initially coming into their foster home they were on the quieter side. It took about 24 hours before they blossomed and became full on puppies. It took some time for their personalities to develop.

The Sushi pups are only an option for those who have had a dog in the last 3 years (does not include family dogs/roommates dogs/petsitting dogs). If there are children they need to be over the age of 8.

**Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend)

**If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event, please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it. You may still submit it and if time and volunteers permit, we will contact you. Most applications submitted the weekend of adoptions are not responded to until after the adoption weekend.
